“What we want is to see the child in pursuit of knowledge, and not knowledge in pursuit of the child.”

Forest School Instructor Assistant

Colorado Springs and/or Palmer Lake locations

We are looking for individuals who love children and also passionate about outdoors. Who are excited about winter blizzards as much as sunny summer days.

It takes strength and a considerable degree of physical toughness to be a forest school instructor. But it is an incredibly rewarding job as you get to watch tentative and cautious children transform into confident, strong and passionate ones. Children who are afraid of height become incredible rock climbers. Children who scream at a sight of spider turn into wildlife advocates who would do anything to save a wild creature.
